Sharmanji Yarns established in 2007 as a Textile Company, involved in manufacturing & exporting various type of yarns viz. Polyester Cotton blended yarns & 100% Cotton combed compact yarns, is having a long experience of quality Yarn business that was initially started in 1962 by Sh. Jatinder Kumar Jain at Ludhiana. In 1990, the business was joined by their sons – Mr. Sunny Jain & Mr. Ashu Jain.
Sharmanji yarns, a new age manufacturer of quality yarn came into existence in 2007, amidst the rich cotton growing belts of India namely Punjab, Haryana and Rajasthan in Northern India. Our mill is equipped with hi-tech state-of-the-art machineries from world-renowned textile machinery manufacturers like Rieter, Trutszler, Schlafhorst, LMW Marzoli, Zinser and Murata. We are providing PP control and FD control yarn in 100% cotton compact yarn & Poly / Cotton blend yarn. Certified yarn for Reiter Com4®ring.
All the above process machines are also equipped with latest on-line quality control equipment combined with computerized information system. World-wide recognized & accepted high-reliability Uster quality control equipment form the core of our R&D and constant monitoring quality control department.

Mr. Jatinder Kumar Jain, chairman of Sharmanji Yarns Pvt. Ltd. commenced his business venture in the textile yarn industry in Ludhiana as a commission agent during 1960’s-70’s. Outdoing various impediments and encumbrances, he established himself as one of the most trusted agent in the yarn and garment industry.
In the initial years of 1990’s, his sons, Mr. Sunny Jain and Mr. Ashu Jain joined the yarn industry for augmenting the growth in the family business. They entered the industry as yarn dealers. Within a decade, both established themselves as the most renowned and trustworthy yarn dealers in the market.
From a trading business in the yarn industry to be recognised in the highest echelons in yarn manufacturing, Sharmanji Yarns Pvt. Ltd. (Sharmanji) was incorporated in Ludhiana, Punjab in 2002 by Mr. Jatinder Kumar Jain and his sons.
Sharmanji has undergone a consequential transformation over the last decades. The management planned for installation of 30000 spindles in two phases. Sharmanji started production with capacity of 14400 spindles for manufacturing polyester-cotton yarn in diverse blends in 2008 at Kohara (Ludhiana District), Punjab.
After affirmative response from fabric manufacturers and garment houses for Sharmanji’s product, the company installed another 15600 spindles for manufacturing Polyester-cotton yarn in diverse blends in 2009, adjacent to the existing facility.
For further diversifying the business operations, Sharmanji set up a new spinning plant with a capacity of approximately 37500 spindles for manufacturing 100% cotton yarn.
To cater to the incremental demand for company’s coveted products, Sharmanji ramped up the production of polyester-cotton yarn by installing 27000 additional spindles in 2016. For ensuring the delivery of sterling quality of yarns, a state-of-art ring spinning unit, with technical collaboration with Reiter (G-32 ring spinning) was established.
At forward, the spindles were expanded with a capacity of 35000 spindles, new plant being set up within company’s vicinity at Kohara, Ludhiana (Punjab), accumulating total of 130000 spindles.
